Privacy policy

Dubai School Fees (dubaischoolfees.com) is designed to collect as little as possible. You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, phone number or email.

What happens when you use the site

• Browsing, Explore and Compare run in your browser. Your filters, compare list and chosen area are saved only in your own browser's storage, so they're there next time. You can clear them by clearing site data in your browser.
• Asking the AI. When you type a question, it is sent to our server together with your last few questions in the same chat, so follow-up questions make sense. The server picks matching school records and sends your question and those records to an AI provider, which writes the answer. We use Google (Gemini API) and, as backups, Groq and Cloudflare Workers AI.
• What we keep. To improve answers and fix wrong data, we keep an anonymous record of each question and answer: the time, the question and answer text, which schools were shown, the area and grade detected, which AI model answered, how long it took, and your 👍 or 👎 if you give one. It contains no name, email or IP address. Records are deleted after 12 months.
• Google's processing. Google processes questions under its Gemini API terms. Depending on the service tier we use, Google may keep and use the content to improve its products. Please don't type personal details such as names, phone numbers, Emirates ID or medical information into the chat.
• Abuse protection. To stop automated misuse, the server briefly keeps your IP address in memory to count questions per minute. For the daily limit it stores a one-way code made from your IP address and the date, which changes every day and can't be turned back into the address; these codes are deleted after 2 days. The site may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible check that you're a person, which is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel, which, like any web host, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and operations.
• Emails. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and fix the data you reported.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share personal data. If we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics or advertising in future, we'll update this page first.
